But thats a point, with Switch they are focused on games that will be released in near future, like I wrote, this "new Nintendo" can easily announced Smash Bros at E3 and released it in September-Oktober.

Actually they need to have some big hitters this year also, they also need big online game to launch alongside Switch online launch and Smash Bros fits perfectly. Combined WiiU and 3DS versions of Smash Bros 4, plus addition of new content could be easily called Smash Bros 5, but even if its just Smash Bros 4 DX, it will still be quite strong in any case MK8D is also just port and its second best selling Switch game after Mario Odyysey.

I just answered your question on the first paragraph and you ask the same thing again. No, 2 or 3 months is too little time for a big IP like Smash Bros.6 months is the minimum in my opinion. If its revealed at E3 and then launched in December,/end November then I can see it happening.Otherwise no.

And people overestimate the need of big titles to push the Switch and its associate services, much like they say that the Switch needs Pokemon to reach that 20 million units sold this year mark.Switch is at a point that its selling because of multiple reasons, which include its software, hardware, and overall decisions(like marketing) with the Switch up until now.Every single long standing Nintendo franchise is breaking its own records. Many said that Zelda wasnt enough for launch. It was. Many said that Pokemon Stars needed to be true for the Switch sell really well last year.It didnt need it. The online service wont need a Smash Bros to sell it, assuming Nintendo dosent botch the whole thing up.

Why?Simply because the Switch has already estabilished itself as a desirable piece of hardware, both by software and by the hardware itself, and thus an extra push for people to pay for online or for that service, assuming the service is decent(offers good discounts, the free games are good, the connection is stable, etc), is unnecessary. The Switch already has many highly successful online focused games, like Splatoon and MK 8, and probably will receive even more games in the future, like Animal Crossing(which I believe will double down on the social aspect of it and by extention, its online functionalities). Not only that, but we have Sony and MS as an example that you dont need a bombastic game to push that. When the PS4 and XOne online services launched, PSPlus and Live were already very successful even before games like COD(that wasnt an old port, if Im not mistaken) came to the system, and both these systems had barely any compelling software to sell on these services. Now comes Nintendo with one thats three times cheaper, and its simply a no brainer that it will be successful even without a Smash game to launch alongside it.

It should go without saying thats just my opinion on it, and by no means I am predicting the future and saying that this will happen.

But I didn't made any question, I just wrote that they can easily announced it at E3 and released it in September-Oktober, I dont say that will be the case but how Nintendo is managing announcements and releases with Switch that actually wouldn't be surprised at all. I personally expecting that Smash will be announced at E3 latest and most likly it will be launched in September alongside with Switch online.

But they will definitely launch some big online game in same time in order to push paid online much easier, I can bet in that.

Nintendo will definitely have some heavy hitters in second half of year for Switch (Labo is potential heavy hitter for first half of year), my bet is on Smash Bros in September and Animal Crossing (or maybe Pokemon instead Animal Crossing) for November.

So she doesn't know anything.

Basically what I though, yeah.

Well she knowed about Labo, Dark Souls and she hinted good number Nintendo Wii U ports for this year before Mini Direct, so she definitely knows some things.

Educated guesses like this could be made by anbody. She should not be portrayed like some sort of insider.

Even some time she was wrong she gave us plenty of time accurate informations, last ones were Labo, Dark Souls and she hinted good number Nintendo Wii U ports for this year before Mini Direct, so she definitely knows some things.
