The strategy meeting where Kimishima mentioned the 13 million figure was for sales up to the end of the 3rd quarter of 2017, i.e., sales up to December 31st. The tracking period ended in December 31st. Nintendo never said "as of now". All the sales from January to March will be given at the next fiscal report.

no nintedo can report numbers out of that period, they did last report. the charts they used in there report went to week 47 which is jan 21, so that has been proven false, along with nintedo using the word now which means at the present.
