If you have to come up with ideas regularly because it's your job then bad ideas are just a logical consequence. There is no way to just get good ideas every day or every week. They just happen. Or sometimes they don't. But whoever pays you doesn't care, they want ideas on a regular basis. It's friday, where's your idea?
I myself have this problem quite often as I work as an author. And don't get me wrong, most of the times when it happens I know that a bad idea is a bad idea, but I write that stuff anyway because I have to write something. But luckily people are most of the time still satisfied with the results, lol.
