I really can't imagine that the Boomerang was ever anything other than an intentionally provocative design without much chance of making it to the light of day. To me it looks fairly unergonomic with your hands sitting at weird angles.
However, the sixaxis doesn't feel that great to me, especially with those curved trigger buttons.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
