IQ is a major complaint for mario odyssey, many people have even called it ugly on resetera. Honestly IQ is one of the most important things when it comes to graphics, halo 4 at 1080p stomps doom  at 600p. It's much better to tone down effects and get clean IQ.

Halo 4 does not run at 1080p on Xbox 360 though. 

As to the importance of IQ vs framerate vs detail, that's a matter of opinion that will naturally vary from person to person.
