well NPD tracks starting november 26 we know nintendo hit 10 million by  this date december 4-10, so by best case scenario you need to  shave off 8 days plus cyber monday  in the npd results of 1.5 million, that would put it at 1 million in north america, then japan would be around 550k, that would only leave europe which is much weaker then north america.

You missed the part where in many european countries they sold pretty much as much during the holiday season as they did throughout the rest of the year. You can deduce at most 500k from US sales (Nintendo sells more the closer they are to the holidays; 300k would actually be more correct imo, but ok, so we're at 11M), add the million from Japan (550k is until December 17, not december 31 - there's literally 2 200k+ weeks missing there) and a million from Europe and you're at 13M

Don't think EU numbers are lower to US numbers because Sony is outselling the Switch there, the numbers are actually roughly similar. It's Sony who has much more sales in Europe than it does in NA, which lends to this perception

300k during the holidays in 8 days with cyber money included, it's at least 500k, japan is actually around 780k from December 4, and according nintedo own charts switch is at 5.5 million in north America while it's only 3.5 million in europe. remember this is best case scenario the 10 million mark could be any where between dec 4-10
