Going to start Iron Man 3 soon. I don’t remember being very impressed or overly disappointed. I was sort of ambivalent to it after the first screening. I thought the action was good. RDJ is always a treat. But I thought the villain was underwhelming, I thought the twist was silly (I’ve never read the comics, so my knowledge of the Mandarin was limited to the 90s animated series), and the ending which basically tried to serve as closure for Iron Man (since after Age of Ultron, Marvel had no idea how much longer they had RDJ for), was disappointing. I’ve rewatched this at least once and it did go up a bit in my view. We’ll see what this new rewatch brings to it. See you on the other side!
