Yep...that's what I was getting at in my comment...

It really just doesn't make any sense. I'll admit Nintendo could have made it a little bit more clear but the idea Quickrick is giving makes no logical sense. The charts clearly show that by week 47 the console sold at least 12.5 million in all three of those regions. if the number 13 million came from January 21st then Switch would have to be one of the worst selling consoles in recent memory in other regions(probably exaggeration but still). If anything, when you include ROW statistics, it is probably at 14.5 million by January 21st ..

i think nintendo would have used the 14 million number if they were 100% sure they surpassed 14 million WW, i think the reason is they were not sure, and they are at 13.8-14 million WW  by the 28.
