all they said is they had a great holidays, that has nothing to do with reporting up to date recent numbers. really there 0 reason not to report recent sold through numbers. the charts are right there telling people they are using data till jan 21, but lets just ignore them. really all evidence points to the 13 million number as being very recent.

In a recent hardware sales thread I pointed you towards an instance where Nintendo stated "over 3m" in a press release and the actual figure was 3.81m. You conceded that that makes it uncertain how much Switch is over 13m. For argument's sake, if Switch were at 13.8m through January 21st and you added the missing regions of Latin America and Asia, it wouldn't be hard to believe that Switch is above 14m, so VGC estimates wouldn't be far off.

It's always the same catch with your argument that Switch is way overtracked: You lack conclusive proof that necessitates that the numbers get changed.

Besides, you are only fighting over a few hundred thousand units. That's really not much in the big picture.

The charts go up to 21, by they get sell through numbers by the 28, if switch was clearly over 14 million WW they would have used that number for sure, and according to vgchartz they are well over, i would say its over over tracked by 500k.
