Akhos and Patroka will become rare blades you can get
You will be able to lower your level at inns
Story blades like Pyra, Poppi, and Dormarch will be able to go on mercenary missions.

EDIT here's apparently a few more things we are getting
An easy mode
Being able to lock Blades
Mikhail is also now a rare blade
Able to exchange bonus EXP for things like additional accessory slots
Level 4 special attack for a certain blade
skip the opening of the core crystal animation.
Man this is pretty massive for just a free update. Really excited now to see what the story expansion and challenge mode is like.
