I remember this fight being hard my first play through...
I thought it would just be enough to have Melia in my party but the AI is dreadful...
Until that point I had not gotten used to using her ether attacks, so I had to spend some extra time figuring her out...
My second play through Inwas completing all the quests as I got them, so I was way over leveled for nearly all of the boss fights...
