So guide dogs are slaves then. They're used for labour. Besides, the purposes of keeping them in captivity doesn't really change the fact that they're still kept in captivity.

As for not being able to survive in the wild... who's fault is that? They weren't always that way...

I guess it would be better if we didn't have pets, but they aren't the biggest issue right now. What we really should worry about, is the mistreatment of cattle and the mass killings of wild animals.

Guide dogs might get replaced by robots in the future. But it's not like they have miserable lives. Circus animals and carriage horses, however, are something that should be severely limited or completely forbidden.
