The switch doesn't need a price cut.. they don't even have a total control on supplies yet.
To me, it's just that Switch doesn't have the games (currently announced) to be that big. But if we get Smash and Animal crossing during Fall, a Mario game for the holidays and Labo being a success, it's totally possible.
But I don't expect Switch to reach such a peak yet. I feel like Switch will climb more slowly but last longer.
