3m on PC minimum.

Assuming the port isn't broken.
Batman: Arkham Knight, has almost sold 1.5 million on PC, so yeah.

There seems to be a real hunger for a Monster Hunter title on PC, this is our first real chance.
Sales on PC could go much higher than 3mil if the right conditions are met.

If Monster Hunter: World catches the eyes of the modding community, well yeah.
If the port is very well done, the game could become a benchmarking title for PC media outlets.

The PS4 version will probably sell about 5 - 6 million units.
Xbox: 1.5 - 4 (depending on how well the game takes off in the west).

Why do you think there is appeal for this game on PC? I'm not sure what Arkham Knight has to do with but there's little data to support your prediction.

Monster Hunter: World is a game that offers plenty of gameplay; the game is something that can keep someone's attention for a long time.
Games like these tend to do very well on PC, co-op games also do very well on PC too.
Monster Hunter: World is both of these things.

It is not too hard to imagine that Monster Hunter: World will sell similarly to titles like: Payday and Payday 2, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, ect.

Oh and imagine the mods that will be made; UGC can easily sell a title on the PC platform.
Take down Shrek with your friends, exclusively on PC.

Dauntless is an upcoming free to play Monster Hunter clone, that has received positive community vibes.
Hinting at a deeper hunger for these types of games.
In 2018 PC gamers can finally taste the real deal.
