I read fear when I see people use that argument online. Fear that Labo will be successful and become another Brain Age for Nintendo. Fear from Nintendo fans because Labo might take resources away from developing core games. Fear from console fanboys because a successful Labo would make Nintendo billions. From my point of view, if it's successful then maybe Nintendo can use that Labo money to fund core games like how Ubisoft used their DS/Wii shovelware money to fund core games on the PS3/360.
