Why are a handful of VR users so adamant?

I'll give you my reason/s.

VR allows you to expereince anything you have ever wanted, and many things are not currently possible, or are flat out fantasy.

VR allows you to do go anywhere you want, in any setting, at any time, in any conditions, and do anything you want to do right from your home.

VR allows you to teleport to the same space as your friends or family, allowing you to share expereinces as if you are physically in the same place together.

Everything I have ever done, everything I have ever seen, and everything I have ever dreamed are all the reasons why I am a champion for VR.


Now, are we there yet?
-No, none of the current VR setups fully deliver that, and the content is not their yet.

Do I expect 100's of millions to flock to current VR?
-No, current VR is not ready for everyone.

Do I think everyone should be excited about the future of VR?
-Your got damn right I do. I can not fathom how anyone with a pulse would not want their own personal portal to go anywhere, and do or become anything they have ever wanted to do or become.

Do I think Next Gen VR will be ready for mainstream?
-Absolutely. Next gen VR combine with the talent of world class development teams like Rockstar, CD Project Red, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Polyphony Digital, and others, will deliver expereinces that anyone will be able to hook up and teleport into.

Do I expect major corporations like Sony, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Take Two, and others to put massive resources into VR, and move major products to VR Only or VR Capable?
-Without a doubt. VR is the future of every industry, because as I said above VR is everything. VR shopping, VR Sporting Events, VR Social Events, VR Work, VR School, and VR Gaming will all be trillion dollar indursties.



I think a lot of the arguments going on around here stem from specifically the gaming side. VR is much, much, bigger than just games. As I said, VR is everything. Everything that is real, and everything that is fake. I don't believe anyone could honestly say that VR as a whole is not going to be absolutely massive going forward.
