Oh I absolutely KNOW it applies to cheaper things. I see it all the time, daily. It happens online, in the real world, everywhere. To openly accept that you were wrong seems to be one of the hardest things people can do. It's probably one the rarest qualities a human being can exhibit and I really don't know why. I think it must have something to do with early childhood and being shamed by either your parents or peers. Maybe even both. Whatever it is, it's real... very real.
