You should do a WW switch software vs ps4 software comparison though. That will be fun. 

First half of post: The absence of third party support on Vita didn't make Sony's games sell better. The opposite happened and they all did worse. The explanation is simple: Due to the lack of third party support, hardware sales on the whole suffered which in turn decreased software sales. If there's a lack of third party support, the burden of selling the hardware is on first party software. Sony's games aren't up to that task, so your claim doesn't hold up.

Second half of post: Why are you trying to bait tbone51 into thread derailment? This is a thread about sales in Japan.

Not baiting. Its a legitimate point. He makes many biased comparisons. I've noticed the pattern.

That comparison we all know Ps4 wins hands down. My thing isnt cherry picking. If i were to say 2 years ago hell even last year that Latest Zelda would outsell the Latest FF im pretty sure people would be bashing me (japan). Thats far more interesting as it happening is so low (at the time).

 

I said Zelda vs FF because Zelda is actually close to that of FF in the latest entries. 

If you made these predictions back then it would be admirable. Instead you make them after the fact when it's a lot more likely the Nintendo game wins. Some of your comparisons are good however.
