Bethesda was right to bet on the success of the Switch and their efforts will eventually pay off. So will be japanese 3rd party companies. And Ubisoft is about to jump on the Switch train. Big western companies will eventually come

you are talking about a generation where ps2  had  most third party support exclusive. playstation clearly owned the home market  back then, it sold like 155 million compared to 45 million for xb/GC, and even then xbox being powerful and easy to develop for gave it decent thirdparty support, Microsoft continued with that strategy, and eventually got all major third party's on board, while nintendo went blue ocean and wasn't really interested in competing with ps3/360. the hardware wasn't made to get third party support, and thats why it mostly didnt, despite selling like crazy, and being the market leader.
