There are some things in the english language that I just can't get my head around. Which is why I always make some mistakes here and there, I imagine a few of them are quite funny for native speakers. Plus I often need to check Google for the translation of particular words.
But at some point I simply stopped caring about it. My english is good enough to be understood. It works on the internet as well as in real-life. Britney understood me when I met her at her show in Vegas! =D
In the end it's a bit like with most of my friends that aren't native german speakers. They have learned the language just fine over the years, but there are just some things they always do wrong. I guess both them and me could improve if we just put a little extra effort into it. But we lack both time and motivation for that.
