A new Switch with higher end specs/capability/screen quality will be introduced to take over the role of the higher end product. It's basically all laid out nicely before Nintendo, Nvidia probably even already has the chip/silicon for the next gen Switch more or less ready for Nintendo to prototype already. The Tegra Xavier (basically what the Tegra X3 would be based on) will start sampling this year, so Nintendo's R&D will have access to the chips likely very soon if they don't already. |
