you see i'm tired of this.  mario galaxy sold 12.76 million, it would have beat smash easily but it's sequel was released 2 years later. stop getting your numbers from vgchartz when there official numbers out there. as for AC being perfect for switch, it's always been handheld  franchise, that never did big numbers on home consoles, unlike 3d mario it does insane numbers on both.

Excuses, backtracking and goalpost moving, that's you all over isn't it? Both 3d land and world were heavily bundled. Smash beats Mario 99% of the time, therefore  it sells better. I think Odyssey has raised the bar quite a bit for 3D Mario games though, so i will admit unless Smash is amazing, then it may have a shot of outselling Smash. However, if Odyssey is massive and sells 15m like a few are predicting and an excellent Smash comes out and does similar numbers, you know what that means? Both 3D Mario and Smash annihilating their sales records would point to a  highly successful Switch console topping out at least 100m making pretty every other point you've made everywhere about Switch both moot and plain wrong.
