You're throwing two different things in one pot, that's not helping the discussion at all. PSVR was sold out for half a year or so, so was the Pro, so I guess it's safe to say both are meeting or even exceeding expectations.

During the holidays:

PS4 Slim: $199 + PSVR $199 = $399
PS4 Pro: $399

So about that pricing argument...

 

After Black Friday PS4 was back to 299,- officially, mostly sold around 249,-. PSVR 199,- deal was over as well. Pro sold for 349,- during BF even less (349,- with 50 dollar gift card), so there were deals indeed.

As habam has already stated, during BF week the Skyrim PSVR outsold both Pro and X1X at Amazon for several days. 

Im just having a problem that you’re trying to downplay PSVR sales by comparing them to PS4 Pro sales. Compare them with the VR competitors instead. A Pro is a wise choice for everyone getting into the PS ecosystem. A PSVR is an expensive peripheral, a unique gaming system which needs dedicated games for the most part AND an existing PlayStation console, in best case even a Pro. That’s a much smaller potential field of buyers.
