You can click on each of the tabs and see that 2D Mario has sold more than 3D Mario each time they were on the same console.
On the 3ds, pokemon has sold more than mariokart. That difference would be even higher if newer pokemon games didn't cut off the old pokemon games legs, which mariokart doesn't have to worry about.
Smash melee outsold super Mario sunshine, smash brawl outsold Mario galaxy, and 3D world only outsold smash 4 because it was heavily bundled with Wii u's, which smash wasnt.
