It also won't be the case the gen after next generation, exactly for the reasons you mentioned. No matter how popular VR becomes, and it will become much more popular, it will never come close to full coverage of the gaming market. It's not supposed to either hence why I don't understand why some people seam so scared of it, as if it would take anything away from them. If anything it adds to gaming as a whole.

I dont think thats 100% true. Many AAA games will likely be VR only in the future. its already happening.

Want to play the new Until Dawn prequel "the inpatient"? Only with VR.

I can see COD and GTA beeing the same as soon as VR beeing the mandatory plattform most people game on.

As many games are made for handhelds only...It's possible that, at some point, the masses will have completely adapted to it, but I somehow doubt it.

The Inpatient is one of those games that simply wouldn't work without VR. So as I said, it adds a new way to play. Those games will be the most interesting ones going forward, I agree and if people like some here still refuse to play them, because of some whatever, fear or antipathy, it's their loss. But as we both know that decision might not be actually logical. Same as with people who refuse to buy a Switchbecause "Nintendo is for kids". You get my point.
