Klaud was just trolling. Obviously he knows that if the Switch plays out like the Wii, it will be a tremendous success.
I don't think the fact that there is just one system makes a difference, but maybe the fact that it's also a handheld, and Nintendo's handhelds seem to have longer lifespans than their consoles.
The Switch being an underpowered "console" (but an overpowered "handheld") means that folks who use it as a console will probably see it as outdated tech in five years, when 4K will be the norm, and 8K is gaining traction.
