3DS just had its best month of sales since late 2014! What does this mean for its future?

Vita had a good 2016 by its low standards but when support dried up in 2017 it fell off a cliff. I'm expecting 2018 3ds sales to be hugely down on 2017. I've only seen data for Japan so far but it's proving true at least!
