Funny how Nintendo announces two products explicitly directed at children randomly in January, separate from the normal game announcements, and suddenly people accuse them of going back to being a kiddy company.

We still have Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, SMT 5, Dragon Quest 11, Dark Souls Remastered, Octopath, Travis Strikes Back, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Wolfenstien, and more coming for 'core' gamers.

The kids can have their toys without everything Nintendo did in 2017 being undone.

 

I felt like thats why they did a mini direct before it, but for some reason people forgot about it....... lol. Well we have to wait until february for the big direct to wait for these people to calm down

Agreed, which instills confidence that they know they have multiple demographics that need attention. They've been marketing to the core gamer for nearly a year, so I doubt they're going to just forget about us. It's just harder to see past what's been dated for the beginning of the year, but all those things I listed are still coming.
