The fact that they have to say that its specially crafted for kids is not a good thing. Its like "Hey we threw something together that only a human with a still developing brain can enjoy."

You might be right about that. Yet it will not remove existing or coming games, nor really cancel future dedicated gaming support. The hardcore Nintendo fans will get what they are already got in addition with something for the kids.
