I'm not doubting your choice but I think you should play more than just Nintendo games.

1)  I don't like to play on PC or home consoles, so PSP & Vita would be my only alternatives. But these systems have pretty bad libararies imo (I own a PSP but I barely used it).

2) I just like Nintendo games a lot better than other games I've tried.

3) Why would I spend money on a new console if I can just buy more Nintendo games? Nintendo has enough good games to keep me busy.
