Switch is for some reasons the favourite on Amazon, so i know that when i say Switch selling crushing the others console (like right now) i know i should not expect something like that, while on the PS4/XB1 part, it is usually very good. In 50 months and over, Amazon was wrong with the ranking like 3 or 4 times, that's an amazing record, and even then, it wasn't that off.
The point is: Amazon is not even close to be usefull. You just have to understand there is not only Amazon, if you keep in mind Amazon rules, it usually help a lot to understand how the situation looks like.
Is like Abdiel on ERA, he tend to overestimate PS4. Should we never trusth him? NO! Just keep in mind that on Best Buy PS4 is the favourite, while Switch is the favourite on Amazon.

yea i already know this, but by how much? that's what we will find out this year. last year switch was barely in stock regular months on amazon, you have to remember this.

Again, i don't know why Amazon rank looks like this if Switch was sold out... i'm just saying Amazon helped me and a lot of people with this ranking, and i rarely predicted wrong because of Amazon. I think the only time that happen was in October 2015, when Amazon and Abdiel both had PS4 above XB1, so i trusted them and in the end numbers were 303k for XBO and 275k for PS4.
