I was mostly being facetious and passive aggressive with that remark. We're all volunteers so managing to find a member of staff able and willing to make a quality custom image that could be used on all of the banners was more than I honestly expected, and I love what Raven managed to come up with.
I suppose it might be possible to simply add the category name underneath the image we've already got, but it might look a bit out of place, and I'm not sure something like this is worth the effort of coming up with half a dozen different images to cover all of the different awards.
But if graphics/visual design is something you're good at and you'd be willing to volunteer your time to help spruce things up we can definitely use someone like that on staff. Raven did a great job on that stamp imo but visual design isn't a speciality of his just a hobby. Zekkyou on the other hand does specialise in it, and has come up with some awesome visual designs for the gamedb, but he's too busy to help out right now. It's probably the single biggest gap we have on the staff right now.

I've been doing a lot of icondesign lately, so I thought I might be able to help out.
like I said my dominant hand is currently a little worse for wear and my doctor has advised me to keep it still, so it might take me a little while to deliver anything.
