You make it sound like Nintendo produce only super niche, abstract content, in reality they do anything but. Breath of the wild is an open world exploration game, a genre that would have no problem shifting huge numbers on other platforms. Mario is a platformer, that judging by the recent crash bandicoot numbers, is a genre still in large demand on the Playstation platform - how many millions has it sold now? For a remaster of a collection of games which are inferior in pretty much every category to every Mario... So what you should have said was "so absolutely nothing for non platformer/open world games". (though you'd still have been wrong) I have to question whether youv'e actually played either of those games, or if you did, were you wearing your 'I must hate all things Nintendo' glasses... I'm a Nintendo fan first and foremost but I can openly admit that I'd likely enjoy horizon or uncharted because in the end I'm a fan of great game design, I'm not sure I can say the same for yourself based on your posts. You're only depriving yourself you know... |
Right, the "I don't like Nintendo games" is the new excuse nowadays. It's like Metroid/Zelda/Kirby are all the same artstyle, type of game and everything. Seriously we all know these people only play games for how "cool" it can make them look, they don't really care about the rest.
