Miyamotoo said: -First Mini Direct is not same thing like normal Nintendo Direct, Mini Directs are shorter than normal Nintendo Direct and they don't have big new announcements. Mini Direct are in less than a month followed by regular Nintendo Direct. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_Direct_presentations And we basically saw that with last Switch Mini Direct, short Direct without big or new announcements, all news were ports/remasters and updates/DLCs, with only one new game announcement that's actually smaller game (Mario Tennis). And thats why we didn't had Direct announcements around 2 days before DIrect like we have for regular Directs and instead Nintendo just announced and release in same time Mini Direct.
-Second with Switch we have plenty of announced games that are released only 2-3 months before launch, games like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rocket League, Pokemon Tournament DX, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Doom, La Noire, Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2, Bayonetta 1 and 2, are all unannounced only 2-3 months before launch.
So with those things on mind, we can definitely expect another normal Direct around March (even it's possible that we will have it even sooner than that), and more Switch announcements of releases for 1H of 2018. (mostly for Q2 of 2018.), with bigger and some new games, even if we can expect some 3rd party announcements outside Direct like we had before. |
Kind of contradicting yourself here. So full directs follow mini directs in less than a month, yet we won't get a full direct for another 2 months?
