Nope MS never said how many units they sold since 2014 or 2015... and have converted to only say the revenue of the whole unit, for Xbox they only say what was the MAU.

I guess thats what happens when it is low compared to the competitor like the Vita with Sony and Nintendo with the Wii U. 

Kind of, but I don't remember Nintendo or Sony totally hiding the numbers... you can more or less see how much PSV sold... and the case is MS were talking every month of the numbers and how it was selling faster than X360, then faster in US, then MAUS.
