Expand your gaming horizon then. As I've already told you, there's plenty of good games coming out.

I'm probably going to get Celeste, Owlboy, Fe, Mario Tennis Aces (depending on reviews / content), Kirby: Star Allies and Dark Souls: Remastered (never played it before). Dragon Quest Builders also looks interesting, so I might buy that as well.

That's 6 games in 6 months and who knows what else will be announced. I'm hoping for a release date on Hollow Knight soon and the new Shovel Knight campaign.

Don't like sports games, Kirby/Owlboy/Celeste look meh, would've bought Dark Souls on 360 back in 2011 if I wanted it. Fe does look mildly interesting, but I've been burned before on indie games that look interesting on the surface but end up being a bore.

If the answer is "lower your standards" that's a pretty damning indictment of the Switch's Q1-Q2.

Owlboy has 88% on metacritic (and is influenced by games like Metroid and Zelda). Celeste will score high as well, I'm sure of that. It also has a godly soundtrack.

Maybe you should have a standard in the first place.

It's not a Switch problem that your gaming tastes are incredibly narrow.

I've been burned by AAA games as well before, doesn't mean I'm going to skip every single AAA game out there because of it.
