So Switch is doing quite good in Europe too, and this disproves widespread belief that somehow UK is most representative if we talk about Europe market for Nintendo.

No one thinks that. Everyone knows how poor  UK is a poor market for Nintendo, unlike other european countries like France (always been full of Nintendo fans)

You are wrong, we often have situations where UK sales for Nintendo HW and SW are using like proof that console is not selling good in Europe or that some game bombed just beacuse is not sold good in UK first week.

Considering that the popuation of Europe is a lot bigger than the US or Japan, Nintendo is still doing relatively bad in Europe. However, since they're definitely making progress, it doesn't make any sense to say that the Switch is selling horribly.

When you look population of market compared to number of sold consoles, Europe is easily weaker market compared to US and Japan for Sony also, but that doesnt mean that some console is selling bad, especially if we know that Switch is selling better than Wii in Italy or selling on pair with Wii in Germany and France for instance. So you cant say that Switch is doing bad in Europe in any case.
