I hope so, cos at the moment Switch's 2018 is looking worrying like Wii U's 2013.

The indie support alone makes that untrue:

- Owlboy

- Hollow Knight

- Inside

- Morphies Law

- New Shovel Knight campaign

- Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes

- Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition

- Super Meat Boy & Super Meatboy Forever

- Celeste

- Dandara

- Darkest Dungeon

- Runner 3

- Fe

- Flipping Death

- Wargroove

- Yoku's Island Express

- Indivisible

- Shakedown Hawaii

- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

- Pocket Rumble

Not to mention support from big publishers:

- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

- Bayonetta 1 & 2 (and maybe 3)

- Project Octopath Traveller

- Dragon Quest Builders

And Nintendo:

- Fire Emblem

- Yoshi

- Kirby

Indies don't sell systems though, you need major titles for that, and so far it looks like Kirby is the only such game in the whole first half of the year. And even Kirby, Yoshi, and Fire Emblem aren't big system sellers.
