What actually is your definition of mediocre? I have a PS4 Pro on a 55" 4k and it's definitely way above mediocre. What are you expecting, a Holodeck-type experience?

It’s the pure lower pixel count those people critisize, even though the added immersion and 3D easily makes up for it imho. I started gaming with an Atari 2600, I could care less about a few pixels and I don’t even own a Pro yet. The feeling of actually being there is so much more than watching the game happen on a screen. I’ve played RE7 in 4K HDR but I’d always prefer to play it on my base PS4 and PSVR. To be able to look in your girlfriend’s eyes while she’s terrified, as if she was real, it’s indescribable.

I’d also happily play GTS fully in VR if it was available, despite the noticeably lower quality. It’s disappointing the mode is so limited and the A.I. Is so slow, yes. The experience is not!
