no. the 360 and ps3 where called hd twins for a reason, they had mostly the same games, but one was cheaper, better controller, and ran games better, so of course people would tend to pick up 360 instead of ps3, especially early on.
umm yea all sony had to do was release the ps3 at 399$, and they would have won that genration easy. not to mention releasing ps3 very late in europe, losing way more sales to 360 for the holidays, and it's strongest region.
