I'm having a lot of fun, though. Keep in mind that I am coming back to Minecraft after several years: villages are new to me!

Fishing is pretty interesting; I got a really awesome item (bow with Power IV and Mending) but lost it in the Nether when I was very foolish and ended up in lava.

My biggest project so far has been when I got hold of a Woodland Explorer map and followed it. The mansion itself was very cool just looking at it, but as I explored the perimeter I noticed that directly adjacent to the mansion was a ravine riddled with mineshafts. Wow, I'd never even seen one before! Well, maybe I'll just explore this before taking on the Woodand mansion...

Well, after I'd explored my way through a few hundred blocks of map distance, and acquired several hundred BLOCKS of iron, I figured "close enough". The mansion was easier than it might have been due to some of the Illagers having randomly wandered outside from time to time for me to take down, including one of only two or three Evokers in the whole mansion. It made wandering through the local forest a bit more terrifying, though. I think there is still one out there...

The loot wasn't amazing, but it was pretty good, and the REAL prize is the mansion itself! My current base is the adjacent "Garden Shed", but it's tiny and pathetic next to this lovely monstrosity. Once I finish the ravine-mineshaft-cave-ravine-mineshaft-et-cetera complex, I want to go into the Nether and build a railroad back to my original base. I love railroads in the Overworld, too, but 19,000 blocks away is a bit too much for me.

There was also a desert village with a temple just a couple hundred blocks away from the mansion, but the villagers all disappeared (presumably due to zombie attacks while I was exploring underground). Hopefully I can find another village a reasonable distance away to abduct and repopulate the desert one with. (I feel bad about it.)

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
