3DS never had an amazing demand. The console was just seen as a new DS by the general consumer and that's why it needed a price cut to get nice sales. The Switch is beating the 3DS with a 300$ pricetag and will have a way better catalog of games since Nintendo merged their 2 markets.
No way its not surpassing the 3DS. It will pick up later in Europe like almost every Nintendo system.
I dont see the Switch selling under 80 millions tbh and most likely over 100 million.
