I can't tell why you're using the XBO's overlap with the PS4 against me, if that is what you are doing, as it only supports my point. The PS4 gets every notable multi-plat that the XBO gets, and even more exclusives. The XBO's library is pretty much the PS4's, and the PS4 goes beyond what the XBO has to offer. This only makes the Switch out to have an even better library (in its first year, yes.) There's no cherry-picking, two of the best games ever in one year, plus more of-note exclusives in one year than I reasonably can think the XBO has ever had. The 360 and Wii comparison is not a pattern, it will not occur here. The XBO has already fallen much behind the 360 in its vast offering of games, as well as its overall sales output of SW and HW. Really, all we have to point to is the relatively sluggish sales of the XBO to come full-circle and note that what Ka-pi said is not mirrored in the general market, and therefore he is wrong. |
I can't see why anyone would pretend Switch 1st year SW is bad or lacking for a Nintendo fan... sure it is smaller than PS4, but to someone that like Nintendo IPs so far Switch have been delivering... considering Switch have almost 5 attach ratio on its first year is very strong (HH doesn't get much over it even at end of life, and consoles have near that on a successful first year as well). Do people think Nintendo can release 2 blockbuster per month on their own? And would they buy 1/3 of it?
