I'm sorry for you, but it sounds like you got what you deserved. When you essentially buy a TV for your wife with your own money (and it's not intended as a gift), you only have yourself to blame. It's probably not easy, but you might want to learn how to handle these situations better - starting with acknowledging that your money is your money unless you have agreed otherwise.
