What is being said is that Wii brought a demography that wasn't before and didn't keep over, hence the flunctuation from GC-Wii-WiiU while on the case of PS and Xbox it had a transfer of users between both consoles, even admitted by Sony when queried what was the origin of PS4 userbase.
