I act like people that didn't buy a console before Wii (or people that stopped buying decades before Wii) and won't buy after it shouldn't be counted to try and say this gen is smaller than last in a console doom fashion. PS2+Xog->X360+PS3->X1+PS4 is more on the flat or small growth than consoles are dying because Nintendo wasn't able to keep the new demographic they were targeting in Wii.

You can't say Nintendo do blue ocean and then try to lump its demographic on the others.

I love how you think that everyone who has a PS2 also bought either an 360 or a PS3, and who has a PS3 also bought the PS2 and want to buy a PS4, or any others console.

This is not how this work lmao, i don't think you have an idea about HOW MANY people only bought a PS2 and then didn't buy any other console after that.

Same for PS3, 360, and of course, PS4.

Your argument is invalid, sorry, Wii must be counted in this comparation, no matter if you like it or not. Every console have casuals. Let it go.

Sure... like all consoles that won generations dropped 85% on the next generation due to it not keeping its fanbase...

Sure PS2+X1, PS3+360 and PS4+X1 won't have similar numbers while GC->Wii->WiiU doesn't show a market that liked Wii and didn't care about gaming.

And if Wii demographic isn't one that didn't buy before and wouldn't buy later where does the blue ocean comes then? Are we rewriting history to keep the doom of consoles?
