There are no doubts anymore.

Benji, Abdiel, and Amazon, all points about a Switch victory for the month of December.

So what's expected in terms of numbers? Something like 1.1m Switch, 1m PS4 and 900k Xbox One?

PS4 and XB1 are not gonna crush so much this month.

While November may have become a bigger month with how big Black Friday is today, PS4 is not going to have a massive >40% decrease from last month. Same XB1.

Don't forget that just 2 years ago, with pretty much amazing deals from both side, both PS4 and XB1 were slighly up MOM. This year we will probabily see the first MOM decrease for those consoles, and nexts years this will probabily become a rule (November is going to be bigger and bigger every years), but at least this year, PS4/XB1 decrease won't be so big.

 

I think is just more about Switch having a pretty "bad" November (not in term of numbers, but in term of deals...). Which mean December boost is going to be huge, possible as good as 3DS firsts years.

 

Switch is gonna explode this month. My predictions:

 

Switch - 1.5 million
PS4 - 1.4 million
XB1 - 1.25 million
