It's nothing like a Wii game. Nintendo just made their own watered down but still good formula of Virtual On. The comparisons to Punchout/Wii Boxing are incorrect when it comes to mechanics. The mechanics of ARMS is basically Virtual On. It may use motion controls but functions similar to dual stick controls in VC. The aiming is similar. Moving around an arena is similar just smaller.
