Glad to see you trying to lean about it, Yushire. Many people wouldn't have taken the time to do so.

Keep in mind that even if your TV is interlaced, you will still notice smoother animation from a game playing at 60 fps than when played 30 fps (same game here) because the extra frames ensure a smooth transition from one single point motion to the next single point motion. You won't get the full effect like you would with a TV or monitor running in progressive scan or higher but it's noticeable to many people.

However, if the game is developed with 30 fps in mind and it's locked at that rate, it will still be very smooth even on an interlaced TV.

Yushire, on an LCD computer monitor the difference in 30 fps and 60 fps is much more noticeable because and LCD monitor doesn't refresh the screen like a CRT based TV does.
So does it mean that theres no TV yet that have true 60 fps framerates? What about LCD TV monitor especially the HDTV ones? Can you see the difference between 60 fps and 30 fps?
