Well I guess you are wrong if you don't admit the script is really bad but nah seriously, the toxicity here is insane. It's hard when it comes directly to you, though - I've already seen some of the usual "you were predisposed to hate it!" or "you just hate it because it didn't fulfill your fan theories!" bullshit coming my way just for saying I didn't like and thought it was stupid, and that's something that's just hard to deal with. I do genuinely believe the script is flawed as hell and objectively bad in several ways, and I have a hard time accepting that people think it's good, but I can understand why someone would enjoy the movie because it does do some things well and is obviously very bold and a lot of people like boldness for boldness sake (see: Pokémon Sun/Moon).

It sucks to get attacked for having an opinion some people don't agree with. It's like they don't know how to respect opinions anymore.
